Do you know what is in
your raw tap water - besides water? Most communities meet most of the EPA
minimum standards most of the time. However, these minimums are based, in
part, on the technological and cost constraints faced by public water utilities.
Most community water supplies add chemicals, such as chlorine, which can foul
the taste and smell of water, coffee, tea, juices, etc.

First your water is treated to reduce hardness impurities and chlorine. Then the treated water goes through an additional 6 stages of filtration
including: small micron filtration, odor removal, taste removal, reverse osmosis "hyper-filtration," ultraviolet light for bacteria and virus control, and final carbon polishing.
